I am a mental health nurse with experience in health care for 18 years. I have experience in various settings and within private healthcare.

I joined the NHS and EPUT in 2017 and in 2020 I began working in Primary Care Mental Health. From 2021 I have been the Clinical Manager of the North Essex Primary Care Mental Health Team. I have managed the transformation of this service, the piloting and development of the new roles, witnessed the increasing demand of the service with complexities of the population and also managing the integration and collaboration between the services third sector services, specialist mental health teams, primary care, the alliance. I enjoy supporting the service to develop, initiating new ideas and ways of working to provide best practice and best patient experience, which I hope to instil in my governor position and inspire new innovations across the trust. I am independent prescriber and I have nearly completed my Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice, which has given me the additional skills to support in service improvement, develop staff and understand improving patients experience. I am very passionate about my work and given the chance will tell everyone and anyone about the amazing work being done in trust and the aspirations for the future of mental health from myself, colleagues and patients.
